Fall is almost here!
- The kids are back in school (or will be soon!)
- Labor Day has come and gone
- “Pumpkin” has started to make its annual comeback!
Some of us weren’t ready for summer to end while others are ready for all things fall. You know it was a great summer when even the kids are ready to switch gears and get back into a routine. After the summer festivities, vacations, pool time, barbecues, lazy days, and late nights, every one of us can benefit from the change of seasons, and taking some time to BE GROUNDED!
What does this mean? Being grounded means that you have a strong connection with who you are. You are aligned to your true self. When you are grounded, your physical and emotional selves are in balance. You are present in the moment.
During the summer months in particular, it is easy to lose your grounding and become unbalanced. When focusing so much time and energy on all the summer things, we lose sight of ourselves and what we need for our personal wellbeing.
This fall, we invite and encourage you to take time for YOU! Reconnect. Rebalance. Reset. Recenter. Here are a few ways to be grounded:
Self-Care! No surprise that self-care is first on the list! Whether you schedule a full day for self-care or you invest just a few minutes, self-care is so very important! Get a massage and/or facial, take a bath, apply a face mask, read a book, take a nap, etc. Whatever self-care is for you – make it a priority!!
Exercise! Exercise is a great way to reset and fill your mental and physical self with goodness and positivity. When you work out, your body releases endorphins, which makes you happier!
Connect With Nature! Go outside and take a few minutes (or a couple of hours) to reflect and clear your mind. Hiking, kayaking, walking, or even just sitting in the grass are all ways to enjoy and benefit from the fresh air.
Do Something You Love! When you put your energy into something you love, you will feel the joy that it brings and the positivity that comes along with it.
While you are working on grounding yourself, don’t forget about your skin! The fall season also means that it’s time to adjust your skincare routine. Keeping your skin hydrated as the air becomes drier is important. Selecting the best moisturizer and actives for each season can help keep your skin looking and feeling its best all year round.

Here is our wish for you, our wonderful customer, this fall season and always:
