As we bid 2020 farewell with a sigh of relief, we want to thank you, our loyal customers, who’ve been on this journey with us. Certainly there were new challenges, to say the least.
We take pride in being a family-owned, small batch producer. We had a tried and proven system in place. And then, wow. Everything from ingredients to containers to shipping essentials took much longer to get, turning inventory planning into a “best guess” situation. As the year went on, the products you love were out of stock, orders we shipped took excessively long times to arrive, with a feeling on our part that we let you down. We thank you for your kindness, patience and understanding through it all.
Focusing on the Positive
Having reflected on the unforeseen and uncontrollable, there are certainly many positives to highlight from the past year. Most important, that our family and close associates are well. There is no greater blessing! And, we recall with great pride so many constructive and exciting things that happened . . .
In January, we introduced our long-awaited new website. With it we have the tools and flexibility we want for your shopping experience -- enjoyable, efficient, convenient and scalable for future innovations! Your feedback means so much -- let us know how we can make your experience better.
On the product front, we incorporated your valued feedback into a complete redesign of our containers and packaging. Also, with your input, we updated our collections to better align with products you like to purchase together.
We added gift items that have proven to be very popular - being a little part of spreading joy to your friends and loved ones was so special, especially this year. Hand-writing your messages of "I miss and love you" touched our hearts; we sincerely hope the gifts brought happiness and love to those you were missing.
New Products And Proven Winners
We’ve put a lot of time and testing into the development of our EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) Serum. We love it and we think you will too. Adding it to our product set makes us even more excited for 2021. We expect this product to sell out quickly - we'll be announcing it exclusively to our email customers soon!
We’re working on travel sizes of selected products too, beginning with our moisturizers. Look for them in the first quarter.
A couple of our products, Total Nutrition Night Repair Complex and DMAE Serum, became superstars this year, thanks to unsolicited reviews from well-respected bloggers in the skincare space, Lab Muffin and Penn Smith. We’re grateful to them for the expertise they share in the skincare community, and for validating our philosophy of formulating quality products that provide noticeable results.
Staying True To Our Roots
From the beginning, we’ve pledged to ourselves to stay true to our small-business roots, showing appreciation and respect to each of you with every interaction. Our greatest source of pride is that our very first, online customer still orders on a regular basis after placing her first order eight years ago. The happy dance and excitement of that first order remains in our heart and motivates us every day.
